I get giddy as a first grader everytime I'm able to take down a chopper or blow up a tank.

How does that guided ML work? I've only been able to take down choppers using the tracer and one of the lock-on launchers.

Communication and teamwork are huge pluses. IMO, if you can get into a squad with friends or people that communicate you'll be in much better shape and have a much better Battlefield experience overall.

Very good tips RJ. The part I bolded made me think of this vid. For some strange reason this never gets old to me, lol.

I almost never knife people, nothing if more aggravating than knifing a dude in the skull only to have him turn around and kill you. I will just shoot a burst into their back and keep on moving.

Re: Battlefield 2: Bad Company and Battlefield 1943 announced

So I decided to repurchase this game after about an 8th month hiatus (getting a bit burned out from COD). Its great to see DICE has made some improvements to the game to make it a bit more balanced, and its very refreshing to see some ACTUAL new maps added. The hit markers are still pretty poor, and I still think on the default matches the damage is too low. Good thing there's a Hardcore mode, although I hope there are enough people playing on that mode to still make it chaotic and fun. There's nothing better than seeing an enemy apache flying over head, only to shot it down and blow it up with everyone still in it. Gosh, how I miss this game.

If anyone ever wants to hook up and play just add my PSN: NoFearNinja, you'll just have to deal with my english accent.. although personally I feel my accent isn't so bad.

I've only done it by manually guiding the rockets. I've never had much success with tracers, but then again I forget they are there.

I don't even know if a tracer dart has any effect on the guided launcher.
