Battlefield 2: Bad Company and Battlefield 1943 announced

I didn't play the first BC, is this the BF1942 type squad gameplay, but more modern and updated? Vehicles and all that?

Yup but with the most advanced damage engine in any game. not only can you blow down any wall or cover, but you can bring down entire buildings.

A common thing I would do in BC 1 was to climb to the 3 story of a building, blow a hole in the roof and make my own sniper nest.

BC2 is going to be amazing. Nothing like sitting in a building with good fire position, only to have the building begin to collapse around you Or a tank round to slam into a wall and take out one side of the building you are in.

Sounds cool, i'll have to check it out. Didn't really get into MW2 much, i think that style's getting a little old for me, but this sounds different and more fun.

I can agree with ya Blue. I LOVED MW1, but just do not like MW 2 multiplayer. They basically gave us PC players a console port.

But Battlefield series has always been the cream of the crop. Vehicles, different classes, Best surround sound on any game, balanced, great team play, huge maps, etc

Battlefield 2142 was the last Battlefield game I played on PC and it was epic also. I LOVED that game. Then I switched to Bad company on the 360 and it had great single player and decent multiplayer (I don't like shooters on 360).

I am VERY excited we got a new battlefield for PC
