Thats probably why, its the second one. I didn't even think to look at the damage rating. Opps

I didn't like the second sniper at all. I felt like the first one was a lot better. Much more powerful.

Might have to check out the demo. I loved Battlefield 2 (I think that's the name) for regular Xbox. I played the demo for Bad Company and only thought it was ok. MW2 is getting a little stale, so maybe I'll consider trading it in to get this.

Same. I unlocked the second one and even though it's semi automatic I didn't like it at all.

The bolt action (M24 I think) is just very satisfying to use especially when you get a nice kill streak going racking up headshot after headshot.

The 3rd sniper rifle is much better, not as powerful as the 1st but just as effective.

Also Battlefield 2 (Still my most favorite PC game) For the PC did have bullet drop, never played BC1 so i can't say about that game.

There is something to be said about the satisfaction one gets from a bolt-action sniper rifle after you've just gotten that perfect headshot.

Just got 5 kills with the UAV tonight. I shot at a tank in the shipping yard area and got 5 kills, not that's satisfaction :P

Then the leg before that I got a 11 killstreak while protecting B. Got 5 knife kills, a few kills with the RPG, then the rest with the Scar.

Read the Game Informer review while dropping a duece this morning. I don't care about scores too much, but they gave it a 9.5. It sounds like they did a good job of improving the single player as well. I barely even touched that aspect of the game in the original BC, so hopefully the campaign is enjoyable.
