Re: The Walking Dead

It's very similar to Back to the Future, except much better visually. Very story driven and the art style screams comic book style to a degree. I like these point and click games for a change of pace.

Re: The Walking Dead

Installing now. Pretty awesome that the Idle Thumbs guys (Rodkin and Vanaman) are co-creators of it.

Love the visual style.

I have to say when it was first announced I was skeptical of them creating the Walking Dead as an adventure game. I think it works great though for how this series is treated in the comics and on TV. Every zombie encounter and kill should be a struggle and having it in an adventure game format, where you aren't in control of everything adds so much tension to each encounter. If they just turned it into a run of the mill shooter you definitely would be missing that tension if you could just headshot every zombie you encountered.

Very interesting game, but PC version is a little borked. Apparently turning shadows off helps if you have crazy stuttering in the forest.

I have no issues with that but the sound is kind of hissy when they talk....it doesn't sound like its recorded in high quality...

Re: The Walking Dead

After playing the demo on ps3 im going to by the season pass for all episodes. I liked the atmosphere and the controls felt much easier to use then heavy rain.

Re: The Walking Dead

As much as I hate motion control gaming, this seems like the perfect game to use with the PS Move.
