That is for sure CGI and mix of game footage mixed in. The soldiers are real footage or CGI. The helicopters looks like in game footage.

YESSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am sooo pumped for this. ARMA 2 was literally perfect if they would of fixed only a few things. 1) Fixed the radio chatter to sound more realistic 2) Fix the sound effects to sound more on par with Bad Company 2. 3) Fix competitive combat between users.

I am excited as hell for ARMA 3 but I will be honest, I am completely content with ARMA 2 and will do like I did with ARMA 2. I always wait for 6 months or more before jumping on. Because bohemina has a issue with buggy releases and it takes them 2 or 3 patches to get kinks out literally every ARMA has been this way.

So if you wanted to get on ARMA 2 wagon, I still think you should do it now and just wait for ARMA 3 to get some patches out and don't waste your time on a day one buy. So you will have many many months with ARMA 2.

Re: ARMA III

If Day-Z updates to this game, Arma III will be one of the best selling games of the year. The game by itself looks amazing and if the developer sticks with their "mod friendliness", owners will be in for a treat.

The plan is to move DayZ to Arma 3 before the make it stand alone.
