I saw this yesterday and got really excited. This was the first game I really dove into in depth when I was younger...brought back a lot of fond memories!

I could definitely see them doing a Spiderman world being that it's Disney/Marvel and Sony. I have my doubts on Star Wars being involved but that would be insane, a keyblade/lightsaber fight?!?!

Overall though I think they'll keep it simple with the original Disney/FF combos maybe some pixar, but the potential is there

Some details from a Square Enix livestream:
  • There will be a mix of worlds that are essential to the plot, and more experimental worlds.
  • Cited KH II as the basis for the battle system, but may incorporate some elements of the spin-offs.
  • There will be at least one more Final Fantasy character in the game again.
  • Sora is the main character, but you might be able to play King Mickey.
  • Looking into online functionality and considering/investigating multiplayer.
  • This is the final battle against Organization XIII, but may not be the end of Nobodies.
  • Not saying if you will see more Kingdom Hearts (the actual things) in this game because that would be a spoiler.
  • Shaders will be changed in the game on a per world basis so each world looks more like the Disney movie it is related to.
