I'd have been happier with any of those.

Can't wait for this!

They better leave Fenway intact because we all know that nothing, not even a darn nuclear holocaust nor radiation...can damage The Green Monster!

Re: Fallout 4

Fallout 3 is my favorite game of all time. I have the itch to run back through it again. It's the main reason I'll never get rid of my PS3 until I can get a copy of it and all the DLC for the PS4. I'm perfectly fine with it being set in Boston. People say that there are too many games set in the Northeast, but I like it personally. Boston is an inherently old looking city so there'll be plenty of cool real world places to explore a la Fallout 3 and DC. A setting like Denver, Houston, or somewhere in the Northwest would lack that real world feeling because there aren't as many widely known landmarks. It's probably the history buff in me, but that was one of my favorite parts of Fallout 3, seeing the Washington Monument, Jefferson Memorial, and all of the museums. Maybe I'm alone in that though.

Oh also, GOG is giving away Fallout, Fallout 2, and Fallout Tactics for free for PC and Mac.

Re: Fallout 4

I still won't believe it until Bethesda announces the game themselves, but I do imagine a FO4 will come for the next-gen consoles within the next three years. FO3 was one of my favorite games of last gen, my only hope is they can avoid the crashing and slowdown problems. For whatever reason I couldn't get into New Vegas, though. Perhaps the setting wasn't as appealing as D.C.

I had the same problem with New Vegas. Las Vegas as a whole to me is completely unappealing, while I loved roaming around DC.

The best part of FONV was the dlc because it took you to locales that were not the desert.

For me, FO3 was a better setting and story but NV brought a lot of great new game mechanics and refinements to the series that made it just as enjoyable as 3.
