Re: Fallout 4

Ehh….didn't really feel Bethesda's version of Fallout. Not a terrible post-apoc open world RPG, but as a Fallout game it was lacking.

Bethesda is ok at making worlds, but they seriously need help when it comes to writing and RPG mechanics. Looking more forward to Wasteland 2 when it comes to upcoming post-apoc rpgs.

Re: Fallout 4

The only thing Wasteland shares with Fallout series is the post apocalyptic setting.

Other then that it's a completely different genre. Overhead camera with party turn based tactical combat makes it more XCOM then Fallout.

That and it's pc/mac/Linux only means it's not on a lot of people's radars.

No. I'm comparing were the series are today not 1 through tactics.

Saying that, I'm assuming FO4 will not be turn based.

Re: Fallout 4

Read about this the other day, extremely excited.

Probably one of my favorite games of all time.

The Ink Spots forever imbedded in my mind.

Interplay wanted to do a sequel to Wasteland years ago, but they didn't have the rights to the name at the time, so they did Fallout 1.
