Once you understand how the missions interact with the world it really opens up into an awesome experience. Traveling across the rooftops looking for billowing smoke to track down Firefly, looking for groups of thugs hoping to find a kidnapped firefighter, or racing through the streets it just feels like you're in the cowl more so than any other games in the series.

Re: Batman: Arkham Knight

Is there anyway to make the text any bigger in game? I have pretty good vision but sometimes I have to walk up to the TV just to see the button prompts.

It may be more of an XB1 thing because Halo: MCC is the same way.

I'm having the hardest time destroying the plane that is continuously shooting missiles at you after you get out of the elevator with the final employee. Any tips? I can destroy all the grounded vehicles, but I can't seem to stay locked on the plane long enough to kill it before I die. Frustrating....

The only thing I guess I did was focus on defense. And then when it was chilling. Hit it up with some "bullets".

Re: Batman: Arkham Knight

I've taken a different approach to playing and have found the game much more enjoyable because of it. Instead of choosing which missions to pursue, I just randomly swing around the city. Listening to thugs and paying attention to landscapes (like others have mentioned) will lead you to missions or awesome *** whoopings. It creates a fresh randomness (and you get a break from the Batmobile) . I was able to start 3 side missions doing this.

See, this is what I'm saying. The game is directionless.

And I played and adored AA. I was pretty good at it too. But this game is just mystifying me...
Right after you get the new suit. It's standing right in front of you. They have 5 things I think. So that your can learn how to use certain things. But I guess most of the stuff pops up on the screen.

Re: Batman: Arkham Knight

Go to the upgrade screen, the moves list for Batman combat and Batmobile combat along with all the other gadgets is right there.

Re: Batman: Arkham Knight

This game seems to be the ultimate in 'what works for some doesn't work for others' apparently. I absolutely love this game and I think some of the complaints are a little blown up. Granted some of the missions can get Batmobile heavy, I don't think it's as bad as some make it out to be. Could just be that I've spent my entire life playing Batman games and the Batmobile has never gotten the love it deserves until this game, but honestly I'm just not seeing some of the complaints. The Batmobile fights get a lot better once you upgrade the Batmobile, gliding through the city does as well once you upgrade Batman's grapple boosts. You can play almost completely without the Batmobile with Batman's full grapple abilities.

Having said that, I think what they were going for was trying to make you actually be more of a detective in this, but I don't think it really translated that well because it's easy to just get lost with how they've done it. One of the most frustrating things about the game is being tasked to track down things on your own. For example, the side mission where the Arkham Knight plants the bombs in the ground and you have to disarm all of them. You pretty much have to drive around the entire city to find the bombs yourself. I found the majority of them by accident from driving around doing other things. Finding the firefighters is a pain in the *** because you have to find them on your own. Granted, you'll sometimes get intel from the GCPD or Nightwing about the next step to take in those missions, but when you're ready to start tackling a specific sidemission, but can't because there's no way point telling you where to go that's annoying.
