Re: Ratchet & Clank

Think I'm gonna pick this game up today. I have played a few from the PS3 gen so I'm familiar with the game/characters. Didn't have a PS2 so I missed out on games from this series on that console.

I need something bright, fun and not so serious to play when my son is around. Plus, R+C is one of the few games my wife will actually watch or play.

I had never played one before and absolutely loved this game.

Re: Ratchet & Clank

When the annual "favorite games of the year" threads pop up in December this will on my list for sure. Loved this game. Wish we could get more like it. I really don't consider this a re-make or a remaster or anything like that, it felt super fresh to me. Maybe that is just me though

Re: Ratchet & Clank

Started playing this a couple weeks ago. I truly miss these gaming experiences. Reminds me of the old PS, PS2 gaming days. They don't make games like this anymore.

I bought this for $19.99 last week. Looking forward to spending some time with it this weekend.

Re: Ratchet & Clank

Gonna pick this up from GameStop sometime this week. Would use my GCU perks but GameStop offers more for a DOOM trade-in than Best Buy does!

Re: Ratchet & Clank

Apologies for bumping this three year old topic but holy crap, im nearing the end of this game and it's been a great adventure.

Visually, the game looks spectacular on PS4 Pro with HDR. Audio wise, it's real good. Music and sound is good and the voice acting is solid. Story and characters is good for what the game. Every character has been solid and im enjoying the story throughout.

Gameplay is excellent. Smooth, fluid, responsive and great combat. Minor puzzles. Some little space combat. Melee/shooting feels good. Shame I passed on this game 4 years ago but at the same time, im happy that I did since it received a PS4 Pro 4K/HDR update.

I'm expecting Ratchet & Clank 2 to be a PlayStation 5 launch title and if it does end up being true, I will not make the same mistake twice as it will be day one purchase!!!
