my most anticipated release.

trailer looks amazing and more like blood money than absolution.

Yeah, I saw the trailer today and I can't wait. I only played the one that was free to download on Xbox 360 before, but it's a blast.

Square Enix revealed the latest Hitman game at Sony’s press conference, and it’s leading with a digital release that will, in their words, “grow, deepen, and evolve” as time goes on.

There will also be a console beta for this new Hitman game, and the PS4 version will have six exclusive contracts. It sounds like they’re going to release a smaller version of Hitman that becomes bigger and bigger as the months go on, perhaps influenced by what players respond to.

Square Enix says it’s coming on December 8, with the game “evolving and deepening over time, with this initial storyline concluding in 2016.”

Specifically, though, the company is promising you’ll spend $60—and that’s it.

there is a cool gameplay trailer out too.
Game is easily going to be my fav of all time if it plays like blood money instead of absolution.

Im curious how this beta works out. Like when could we play the beta if we pre order??

If we can play the beta before august ill probably pre order.

just pre ordered it.
read up on it enough to realize the gameplay will be nothing like the linear gameplay of absolution. so its a no brainer for me.

hopefully we see some gameplay vids soon.

I liked Absolution, but it didn't seem to punish me for turning a mission into a shootout. I'll give this a look just because I'm a fan of the series.

absolution was just different.
I like to replay hitman missions or spends hours on each level finding out lots of different ways to make hits. with no checkpoints. I like to explore the huge interior levels.

absolution didn't allow that. it went away from the traditional hitman game.

It was an ok game, but if you came from playing blood money, then played absolution, it was a total turn off.

Hmmm, you guys do realize and are aware that the Hitman game that gets released in December is digital only and isn't the complete game right? Free content is supposed to get released throughout 2016 until the story and game is completed with a 100% complete disc version being released in the end of 2016. In other words, you're NOT getting the full and complete game at launch.

I liked Absolution.. minus the game breaking glitch where your save data randomly erased.

I'll be getting Hitman, looking out for a collector's edition in a year.

yes. i do realize that.
if its like blood money though. ill spend forever on the missions. its not a linear game like absolution.

The thing to figure out is how much content will actually launch with the game.

Splatoon launched with an "incomplete" game but seemed to have enough content out of the gate and Nintendo is doing a steady release of content.

I was 85% complete when this happened. Massive bummer and I never replayed the game.

I am looking forward to the new one though. And would love a return to Blood Money like game play.

I couldn't play the game after it erased the data. I was furious.
