The Best Single Player FPS Campaigns

With the impending release of Rainbow 6 and Battlefront already out I was trying to think of recent FPS with a dedicated single player campaign. The only thing that came to my mind was Wolfenstein.

Anyway, what are the best campaigns for FPS so far this gen?

Wolfenstein The New Order without a doubt!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Get The Old Blood after. It brings back so many memories of how great the glory days of gaming in the 90s were, Duke Nukem(1996), Shadow Warrior(1997), Doom(1993), and Quake(1996)!

Nope, Portal isn't a First Person Shooter, it's a first person, physics based, puzzle game (like Talos Principle)
GTA V, played with the first person camera, is the best open world first person shooter.
Fallout 4 isn't a FPS. It's a first/third person, open world RPG.

I thought COD: Advance Warfare campaign was pretty good.

I've always considered Fallout and Elder Scrolls to be First-Person mainly because the Third Person view looks so janky while actually playing the game.

GTA V's first person did nothing for me outside of the vehicles.

Wolfenstein The New Order for me.

I am very curious about Killzone Shadow Fall for PS4 though. Any thoughts on that title?

The OP clearly wrote about recent FPS.

The guidelines are very loose. Outside of Fallout 4 and Wolfenstein I was having a hard time come up with great FPS campaigns when they seemed plentiful last gen and before.

Far as storyline goes, COD Ghosts story line was very good, especially the ending. Why they didn't continue with that story line is beyond me. Instead COD is continuing with this half human half machine story line arc from Advanced Warfare which I really don't care for.
