    Fortnite (PC, PS4, Xbox One)

Anyone else picking this up? My brother bought one of the super editions that came with a free game token so I basically got it for free. It's like if Minecraft, Left for Dead, and Borderlands had a baby. Really enjoying this game.

Game looks great. I just bought it on a whim. Of course it's broken and I can't play at all right now. Typical online game launch.

I haven't had a single issue. It releases on the 25th and right now is only Early Access

It's fine now. I was stuck in some weird loop trying to log in the first time.

Edit: spoke too soon. Tutorial worked fine but I'm getting an error trying to start a mission now.

Same here. It has been hard to put it down. Game looks to be rather deep as well.

I watched someone stream this all day yesterday, it looks interesting and fun, but also very "grindy".

It's definitely grindy but that's what I like about it. Always something to do. I usually just roll through some challenges/missions until my resources are filled up then I go work on my home base a bit. I honestly have no idea if I'm going about it right but I'm having a good time.

They gotta overhaul the UI though. The skill tree desperately needs a free cursor so you can move around quicker.

I ended up buying the game and am really enjoying it but I have a question about weapons. Is there a way to change the weapons that you are using or does it do it automatically? I am on PS4.

                  Thank you.

You just go to the weapon in your inventory and equip it.

I've hit a wall. It's kind of frustrating. I don't like the way you progress through the main quest line. I need to do med bots in a 23+ zone and I every time I join a game nobody wants to help do them. So I pretty much can't progress unless I find a group of 4 and none of my friends bought this.

Thanks. I figured it out last night. I didn't realize you can only equip while your in a mission.

Yeah, no inventory management out of the game is a miss that I expect they'll fix at some point.

I'm towards the end of the first area playing only when my friends are on, having fun but it's a bit of a grind.

Wish I could get a nice weapon for my ninja. Almost bad enough to make me want to upgrade to the highest tier just for that schematic, lol.

Looks like this game is turning into a PUBG rip off. Was hoping they wouldn't give in to pvp modes and keep the game unique.

That's just a mode. If it's good people will play it. Friends and I had some fun with the 14-night mode, took us over 4 hours.

I watched Dr Disrespect stream it for couple hours today and honestly thought it looked good. There is several things I liked with their take on the BR mode.

Weapon levels is neat, building forts and defensive structures in a BR game forces strategy, destroying buildings changes up the combat, weapons are varied, gas affecting vision, map is very large, art direction is colorful, and movement is silky smooth.

Things I didn't care for, the looting is a mess, bullet speed is very slow, weapon aim seems very RNG (lacks skill ceiling), and no vehicles from what I saw.

All in all most seems good
