Your backlog isn't even a backlog. Some guy on resetera bought a whopping 1300+ games in 2018 alone!!!! Now, that's a freaking backlog!!!

Re: 2019 Gaming Plans

I also have a sizable back log of games to finish so there are only a couple games right now that I will buy on day one. Resident Evil 2 , The Last of Us 2 and Monster Energy Supercross 2 are definitely day one purchases. Other than those I'll be fine waiting 6 months for price drops. I buy all digital now so it's just too costly to buy every game I want on day one.

Just recent;y I picked up:
God of War $20.00 PSN Store
Shadow of the Tomb Raider $30.00 MS Store
Battlefield v $35.00 MS Store
NBA Live 19 $10.00 MS Store

Still waiting for Black Ops 4 and Spider-man to drop in price a bit more.

On my radar:
Metro Exodus
The Division 2
Days Gone

Same here, A&S. I really want to see if I can go the entire year playing the games I already own. I have more than enough to keep me busy.

MLB 19 isn't a 100% purchase, either. I will need to see some presentation and franchise upgrades, otherwise I'll stick with 18 and likely wait until 19 hits the $20 mark.

Re: 2019 Gaming Plans

My gaming plans consist of rotating between these games as of now:

FIFA 19 (PS4)
NBA 2K19 (PS4)
Witcher 3 (PS4)
Assassin's Creed Odyssey (PS4)
Red Dead Redemption 2 (X1)
NFL 2K5 (PS2)
Madden 07 (PS2)

Got some sports game dynasties going with FIFA and NBA being solid titles and 2K5 + M07 being my favorite football games ever. Witcher 3, ACO and RDR 2 have big open worlds that I can take my time with. I'll likely stick with this for a while as there are no new games that peak my interest releasing soon.

Re: 2019 Gaming Plans

I completed a lousy two games last year (the first Tomb Raider and Life is Strange: Beyond the Storm).

Doing better in 2019, already started (and completed) 1 game in 2019, playing through "The Infectious Madness of Doctor Dekker" on Jan 1. Engrossing story that really sucked me in....got through a full playthrough in one sitting (about 4 hours and I milked a lot out of it).

My gaming tastes are changing a lot and I think 2018 was about me figuring that out. Much more interested in good stories, interesting characters, and using my brain more than stick skillz.

Currently Playing
Madden 19
MLB The Show 18

Next on-deck
The Council
Detroit: Become Human
Shadow of the Tomb Raider...I semi-finished the second one so want to get this re-started. Saw gripes about there being less combat in this one...should be right up my alley.
Deus Ex: Mankind Divided (I got a hankering for a stealth-style game and this one has gathered a lot of dust since I got it)...the dishonored trilogy might get play here too.
Last of Us (always frustrated me to no end...but I REALLY want to get into it)

Future buys
MLB The Show 19
Cyberpunk 2177

(Backlog...large...and most I won't get to)
