This is gonna look so good on a ultrawide too.

Noticed your request in Microsoft's Flight Sim too. I'm a newbie for Flight Simulators and will probably look to invest in a different peripheral than I have now. As for SW Squadrons, I'll suggest the HOTAS 4. Although you see the PS logo and you're thinking of gaming on a PC, this model supports both the PC and PS4. I haven't heard anything wrong from people who have used them on pc. It's what I'll be using on the PS4.

Re: Star Wars Squadrons

Thanks Picci, that exact model is available locally too. Gonna pick that up, might go VR but I’ll rock my ultrawide first.

EDIT: Ok just ordered it but it'll be a couple months before playing, i have a pc space shooter i'll practice on.

Also saw this is crossplay, so i'm getting pumped to play with everyone.

Re: Star Wars Squadrons

Selective games... Mostly horror and Zombie games.. with some scattering of puzzle types like Fishermans Tale etc..

Cant wait to play HL .. waiting to play as I get it free whenever I get the Index.

I unhooked VIVE a few weeks ago thinking I'd have Index by now. However it's only went from "ships in 8 weeks" to "Ships in 7 weeks" since I ordered it 3ish months ago..

Re: Star Wars Squadrons

Picked up the VR the other day. Not specifically for SWS, but I'm so glad I got it when I did. Enough time to get my VR legs under me. I feel like this type of game is going to make me lose my lunch every time I play.

PS VR or PC VR? If its PSVR, play the 1st Battlefront game which you should be able to get on the cheap (if you already don't have it) and play the Star Wars Battlefront Rogue One: VR Mission which is free. Play it, and report back what you think. The whole mission is about 15-20 mins.

Re: Star Wars Squadrons

It was originally revealed that HOTAS support was for PC only until a recent tweet by EA's Ian Frazier just now revealing more;

Quote:

Good news, pilots!

As you may know, Squadrons supports HOTAS (throttle and joystick) controls on PC.

I'm happy to announce that we're adding HOTAS support to both PS4 and Xbox One as well, in a patch that will be available the moment the game goes live! #StarWarsSquadrons
