Re: Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War

Lord. First game was Kill Confirmed. 4-15 with 12 objectives lmao.

Round 2 with Domination was MUCH better. 28-16 with 13 objectives

Edit: Oh, yeah. I have the hang of it now. 3rd game was dominate. 27-13 with 19 objectives.

Re: Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War

I'm a lifelong xbox player and my brother has a ps4 so he let me borrow it to play, needless to say I got absolutely TRASHED lol. I could not get used to the controller at all. I did like the game overall though. Time to kill felt much more like a classic COD which is what I like. 6v6 maps were ok and the movement felt a little bit stiff. Graphics weren't great, but they should be much better on next gen. Also, one of the devs said there will be lots of improvements for the final game so I'm pretty optimistic. Only 2 months to go!

Also, no 60 FPS? We're resorting to motion blur now?

Maybe it's because this was built for PS5 first or something, but no 60 FPS is the first I've seen from a COD game since MW, as far as I'm concerned. Very interesting.
Controller layout was there. It was a little further down than usual in the settings I think. I had trouble finding it at first too.

I just want to be sure you're referring to stick control and not button control, right?

My bad, I was thinking about button control.

Re: Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War

So I found "Stick Layout." When in the Gameplay settings menu, you have to click L3 which shows advanced settings. It'll pop up above "Button Layout." Why it's in that portion of the menu, I have absolutely no idea.

Yeah, I'm in love with this game mechanics!

Modern Warfare is more my speed, but this is something I'll be putting hours into.

Re: Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War

I don't understand the big problem with SBMM?? I mean if someone can explain what everyone's issue is with it then I might be able to understand. I guess this will show my skill level when I say, I'd rather play people my own skill level so I can get better??? Maybe that isn't the right mindset to have?
