Too bad, but it's better this way. Last few Saints games were rushed with short development time, so this should be a much better product. I guess I will get the physical GTA Trilogy when it's available to fill some of the gap (along with keep playing WD2) for my modern open world needs.

That's fine with Elden Ring coming out on Feb 25th, that will keep me more than busy until this comes out.

More than likely I will be. I got the first Saints Row on release day after playing the demo for probably 100+ hours and loved that game. Saints Row 2 I got day 1 and had a blast with it as well. Saints Row 3 I got day 1, but it didn't hold me like the first two games did. It just was too over the top back then for me to really enjoy. That led to me never getting 4.

Funny enough, I actually gave 3, or The Third I guess it is called, it's 50th chance a couple of months ago and for whatever reason I enjoyed the game in a way I never did before and I actually just beat it a couple of weeks ago. That led to me buy 4 for like $2 while it was on sale. I plan to power through and beat it before the reboot comes out. I know the stories aren't connected, but I'd like to get all of the main titles beaten before getting the reboot.

I'm actually pretty excited about the reboot. I do wish it had been more like the 1st game with more depth and the benefits of being on technology nearly 20 years newer, but it looks like it's taking things from 2 and 3, so I am sure I will enjoy it. The customization alone looks incredible. I've had some fun with the Boss Factory and that's only a tease of what all is there. My biggest worry with the game right now is how much I will like the map.

Its one I will watch and likely wait a few months for a sale as I want to hear reviews. If its just 8 out of 10 that would be enough for me to play it eventually. I know some are saying it has watch dogs 2 type of vibes so I'm curious if that's true or just people looking at the surface at the characters. I played the 3rd remastered a few years back and enjoyed it a silly time killer fun type of game. I may try out the 4th one on ps+ as I can't remember if I played that one or not.
