Re: 2022 gaming plans

I plan to tackle a lot more single player games. I don't recall beating anything last year. I know I had to beaten something, but I honestly cannot remember.

This year I already beat Firewatch. I always wanted to buy it, I just never did. As soon as I saw it on GamePass I downloaded it and loved every second of it. It was a great game and the story actually surprised me.

Now I'm grinding away in Mount and Blade II Bannerlord since they've added so much content since it was first available. I also plan to get through Kingdom Come Deliverance and Metro Exodus in the near future.

I also would like to go back and play Stalker Shadows of Chernobyl. I don't remember ever finishing it. Then I'll play Call of Pripyat. I'd prefer to beat both in time for the launch of Stalker 2 later this year.

Hopefully this is a good year for my single-player backlog. Getting out of public accounting and getting a relaxing accounting job has significantly increases my freetime to tackle my gaming desires more than I've been able to the last 3+ years.

Removed Elden Ring completely as I know im not beating the game so no point in buying it. Removed Stalker 2 as it's been delayed to December and could end up getting delayed to 2023. Added Crossfire X campaign but will wait on reviews.

Overall, I have 7 games/expansions for the first half of 2022 that have a release date and is already packed and stacked compared to what I had in 2021 in the same time frame. Looking forward to every game/expansion on my list with Dying Light 2 and Horizon 2 being at the top of the list.

My only plan for this year is to finally upgrade my skills in Dota 2. But who knows, perhaps, I'll achieve even more.

Re: 2022 gaming plans

I am working hard on my backlog this year. So far, I have finished the stories of:

Far Cry: New Dawn
Assassin's Creed Odyssey

I am working on the Platinum of Odyssey; however, I have also started Assassin's Creed Origins today so I do not know when I will Platinum Odyssey.

I am going to go back and Platinum New Dawn at some point, and I have a couple more Far Cry 5 trophies I need to get to Platinum it.

Re: 2022 gaming plans

Spoiler

Currently Playing
Horizon Zero Dawn PC - Doesn't look like I'll finish it before the new expansion like I was hoping to. I just keep getting caught up in side stuff and just running around the land.

Spiderman Remastered for PS5

Total War Warhammer 2 - Greenskins Campaign. I was really trying to avoid playing this anymore while I wait on Warhammer 3 to be released on 2/17, but I just couldn't help myself.

Re: 2022 gaming plans

Just saw the trailer for DokeV. Add that to my list of games I'm watching with great interest.
