OSA isn't the greatest in a lot of cases. I wouldn't be surprised if there's a lot of difference in the two opinions.

Agreed. I'd trust your guy over OSA if your guy has a lot of great ratings. It can also be helpful to look at the OSA report--if both reports are good, then there's less risk. If OSA strongly disagrees with your scout, then you may want to put a mental asterisk on that player.

You probably also want to factor in whatever your scouting accuracy settings are.


EDIT: A big difference in scouting can also be exploited in trades, too. If you have a player that OSA covets but your scout doesn't especially like, then that's a good trade piece for you.
