    Pc vs steam

    If I have it on pc and my buddy has it on steam, can we still play against each other? New to the franchise and steam as a whole.

      Yes but "playing online" is just importing/exporting each other's games essentially. The only real online mode is Perfect Team. Does not matter where you buy the game from.
