NHL 2K6 Beta Movie Clip (8-20-05)

We have just posted a movie clip from our beta copy of NHL 2K6.

"Play like the pros with our revolutionary icon-based passing system. All-new combo passing and shooting controls let you queue up give-and-go attacks, tic-tac-toe passing, puck cycling, behind the net plays and more!"

I was told this beta is 85% complete. The clip is showing off AI vs. AI on Hall of Fame difficulty. For some strange reason, I couldn't get the accelerated time to work, but I'll keep playing with it and get a full game up as soon as I can.

Great- thanks. Please post some footage from you against the CPU (CPU vs CPU is always interesting to see but I think human Vs. CPU can be more telling about the way a game will actually play).

I agree with 2kguy. This was awesome, a nice treat. However, I don't run my games CPU v. CPU either. I can do things the CPU offense can't, and I would love to see how they react to them.

However, I'm totally digging that one-timer goal. As much as I hate how easy one-timers were to pull off last year, at least this year they look really cool. The player had to square up to the puck, and the power put into the shot was noticeable.
