Steve, would you be able to let me know if they have Alexander Semin's player picture in the game? He is on the Washington Capitals. Thanks in advanced, and dont stress over getting it done

Good stuff, Steve!

Seattle may be too much for the Cowboys, though...

Hi Steve,

Just registered here at OS! Great website - check it 3 times a day!

Anyway,

I'd really like to see Montreal in action in one of your next gameplay movies, and I would also like to enjoy the broadcast camera as well.

Request:

1) Montreal Canadiens as the home team

2) HIGH SIDE camera selected (at least for 1 complete period)

I'm grateful that you've even posted movies, so I'm not going to be too picky... just a suggestion here.

Great work at OS!

O man....when you're watching a game and they start talking about a former player's son now playing in the NFL and you remember seeing the father in live action......ugh.....that's the feeling of getting old! lol

I watched the 2nd movie and agree that someone needs to feed you the right sliders, especially for head to head play. Yes, hockey is a fast game, especially in the NHL, but too many hockey gamers turn on the after burner jets and race around the ice like something out of a bad Monty Python skit. Hockey is more of a fluid ballet, with gliding and coordinated movements accented by speed bursts, acts of incredible agility, mucking and grinding and battles within battles. That's what a good slider set could bring out in a game if done right.

Re: NHL 2K6 Beta Movie Clip (8-22-05)

Hi again,

After carefully viewing the first movie of NHL 2K6 you posted Steve, I have realized that perhaps there is an actual "Broadcast Camera". I know by now you're wondering what this guy's obsession with this is... long story...

Anyway, here's how I know. Bear with me here...

When the Leafs and Flyers line up for the opening faceoff, it shows a broadcast-style angle, AND the faceoff close-up box in the top right corner. Now, I know that the faceoff box ONLY appears in the selected camera view, right before a faceoff. So in other words, if you're using the 3/4 view, you'd see the game from that perspective when preparing for a faceoff, not during a cut-scene - hence, I have reason to believe that there is a way to play from that angle (the very first one shown in the Leafs vs. Flyers movie).

If there is such an angle - PLEASE SHOW IT OFF IN YOUR NEXT MOVIE!

Thanks,

If not... I guess I'll have to live with the "High Side" angle.

My buddies and I have been waiting for a 'proper' TV broadcast playable angle in hockey for ages... that's why I'm hyped!
