It's no surprise that many people loved this game -- how many times have I wished for an evolved version of this game on a newer gen system? You can never go home, though.

Coachwf -- good to see you. Remember me at all?

Re: TJ's Time Machine - Baseball Stars

I'm 20 years old, and I've never played, seen, or even heard of this game (sorry old timers!). It was cool to read about how much fun everyone seemed to have with it, though. It's amazing to think how far sports video games have come. Yet, there are still some things that games made 10 or 15 years ago did better than games made today.

Interesting stuff.

This game, Super Tecmo Bowl, and Mike Tysons punch out were my favorite sports games growing up.

Re: TJ's Time Machine - Baseball Stars

I didn't get into Baseball Stars as much as others (I had other favorites like RBI, Bad News, and Base Wars), but I definitely played it a lot through rentals, back in the day when they were only 2 days or so and a hell of a lot cheaper.

Very solid, fun baseball game.

Code to Tyson. I liked using the Code to Super Macho man though. That fight was fun as hell. I still play it occasionally on emulators.

A game i would like to see reviewed was the old little league baseball game. That game was so bad ***. I used to roll with Hawaii. haha

Other games..

Tecmo Bowl
Super Tecmo Bowl
Bases Loaded 1-2-3.
R.B.I as someone mentioned (everyone was chubby in that game. haha)
F-Zero ( guess thats a sports game? it was racing. hehe)
NFL gameday 98.
Joe Montana Sports talk football.
Mutant League Football
Ring King
Pro Wrestling (King Slender ftw)
Tag Team Wrestling.

Thats all i can think of atm.
