See I seem to recall that a few copies of NBA Jam made it to console with Barkley in the game.

You're right they did. The early SNES and Genesis versions had him but after he made Shut Up and Jam they had to take him out because his rights belonged to Accolade.

I used to dominate this game with David Robinson and Sean Elliott; I averaged 20 blocks a game with The Admiral, lol. Good times.

Enjoy that women's tournament!

Go back and look at my other pieces though. That's something I like to do at the beginning of each Time Machine, just to sort of set the tone for the time the game was released. I've done it in all my articles.
