While I agree NFL 2k could have been great, I think APF and 2Ks other efforts show that they would've taken at least 2-3 years to get NFL 2K back to full force after transitioning to next-gen. Still, that'd put em 1-3 years ahead of Madden

I played All-Star Baseball 98 with Larry Walker on the cover on the N64. So '99 wasn't the first one and I'm sure that Acclaim published it.

Oh wait my bad. I guess it was '99. But I know I played one with Larry Walker on the cover and not Thomas. I found a Youtube of a commercial with Walker. Hmmm...

Anybody remember Leaderboard golf back on the C64...that game singlehandedly made me watch golf...granted I only watched for a week but still.....

Oh, for High Heat to be alive today. The thought brings a tear to my eye. MVP built on it's basic premise very well, but I don't think anybody could have done it like the original. High Heat--- the greatest controlled simulation in the history of sports gaming.

hell yeah! i bought a steering wheel for that game because it was so competitive. fun game, way before its time...
