Re: A Feeling of Emptiness: Missed Game Series

I could never get into nfl 2k5, I'm not sure what it was but I only ended up playing it about 5 times, good thing it was only $4. But, I will say I'm not a huge football fan and that may be why, but I still like some madden games like 2005, and I like NCAA football games. I don't regret buying it though, because it was litlle risk and possibly a big reward.

I know. It's become that you can't write one of these things without an NFL 2K5 reference.

I feel like High Heat and MVP are sort of still around. For me, MLB: The Show is the best baseball game I have played in years. While we don't have High Heat or MVP, The Show has a lot of sim elements and enjoyable gameplay to fill in the void.

Re: A Feeling of Emptiness: Missed Game Series

Sports series I miss:

1) NFL2k. Easily the most missed series here at OS. APF was great but it won't be out this year

2) College Hoops 2k - 2k8 is the best sports game I've ever played, and I'm sad it won't be back.

Can't really think of anything else.

SUPER TECMO BOWL!!!!
Man this game was way ahead of it's time for a NES game. All The Current teams for that time. Real players, stat tracking, injuries, players ratings increasing and decreasing, and the best most exciting cut screens ever!
Oh yea anybody remeber Monaco GP( Indy Racing) on genesis?
