Re: OS Roundtable: Lost Features Edition
All good points guys. I think if they would get rid of superstar mode and campus legend, they would be able to add more of these features. I think campus legend and superstar have run their course and it's time to take them out. -

Re: OS Roundtable: Lost Features Edition
i have always wished that in madden you could have a true training camp, where you can stock your roster to 80 like in real life with a bunch of undrafted free agents and then work your way down to your opening week roster of i believe 55Comment

Correct me if I'm wrong - while you can't schedule neutral site games can't you just go to the options before starting a game and select a neutral stadium?"You make your name in the regular season, and your fame in the postseason." - Clyde Frazier

I don't remember being able to do that last year (360 version). Perhaps I overlooked it?Ryan Spencer

Re: OS Roundtable: Lost Features Edition
Team / Player intro's in NCAA football.- EA seems to talk up their atmosphere a lot, but then they strip out features like this. I think that the player / team intro's added a lot to the college atmosphere of the game.
Formation subs. It sure was a lot more fun getting your back ups involved this way.
Spring Game.
IMPROVED DB AI! - Sorry, just a joke. I used to love how that made it onto the feature list every year. It just cracked me up.Comment

Re: OS Roundtable: Lost Features Edition
1) Create a play/playbook
2) Create a school
3) Accelerated Clock (really wasn't gone for me since I played Madden PC)
I think the most glaring omission in NCAA is the pregame. What happened to the TV style intro to a big game? I loved on old gen how when you played a small school you might not be on TV so you got audio of just the stadium announcer then when you played a big game you got Corso, Nessler and Herby.Comment

Re: OS Roundtable: Lost Features Edition
That was in last year for 360/PS3. I remember playing the majority of the games as UL-Lafayette and only hearing the stadium PA announcer.
I do wish NCAA had a better pregame. Showing different angles of the stadium and briefly discussing one player just doesn't do it for me.Ryan Spencer

Re: OS Roundtable: Lost Features Edition
I remember on the sega genesis Madden's that during a game or after the game they would show a highlight from one of the other games going on. And since this is supposed to be next-gen and we shell out these big bucks on this stuff why can't the show the starting lineups as they do on tv, like "here are the starters on defense"?Football is life.Comment
