Tecmo has leagues around just like NHL 94 as well, there is still quite the following, and a 32-team version of the NES Tecmo Super Bowl even exists.

They tried making Tecmo Basketball and they killed it. Absolute trash. Hopefully if any of these get remade, some time and effort goes into them.
