Also, do you get the latest updated addition that was just released ?

Basically what I’m getting at is do I buy the game straight up or do I get ea access and get it all for free plus other ea access stuff for the same price ?

Sometimes DLC is included, sometimes not (usually is). Battlefront has had a lot of big, free updates iirc, and it's included.
