I wonder how many of the freezing units were launch units? I bought my 360 2 weeks ago, bought MLB 2k6 the 2nd day it was out, and didnt experience any freezing issues. The game plays perfectly. I suspect it had something to do with the earlier Hard drives that MS shipped with the premiums at or just after console launch.

Mine wasn't a launch unit.

Mine was a launch unit, I never had a single freeze. I have no idea what caused it.
