T.J.'s Time Machine - Double Dribble

T.J. checks in this week and takes us back to 1987 which, among other important events, saw the release of Double Dribble for the NES.

Quote:
"With the NCAA Tournament finished and the NBA Playoffs a few weeks away, we're continuing our theme here on the Time Machine with a classic hoops game that anyone with a Nintendo Wii can still play to this day."

I remember that if you shot from any of the screw markings on the court, you would hit the shot almost everytime.

Loved this game, remember the bomb sound when shooting a three pointer? Money! It somehow lost its coolness in Madden 08....

Yeah, i remeber those little knots on the floor at the corner of the three-point line. Straight money, everytime. The challenge was to try and get your defender there before your friend got to that point in the floor.

Good times!
