Waiver Wire Podcast - October 14, 2008

The Waiver Wire has returned after yet another hiatus. The show returns with a new co-host (Wil McCombs) along with the returning Chase Becotte. They talk about NBA Live, NBA 2K and FIFA game sales before discussing MLB Stickball and the recently announced MLB Front Office Manager. Later, Chase talks with Matt Blumenthal about NBA Live 09 and Richard Chavez about NBA 2K9. Wil and Chase return for the end of the show where they talk a little about Tokyo Game Show gaming news and what games they've been playing.

Just finished listening to this week, pretty entertaining show, some good impressions. it needs to be a regular thing though if anyone is going to care about listening. These month at a time absences aren't working.

I only heard 15 min of the show, but I got the impression neither of the hosts have even played the games they were discussing, especially Wil.

Sales figures make semi-interesting topics, but there are so many more relevant topics to cover such as the ones from the recently posted articles, that are listed under "features". Please do not be afraid to discuss more in-depth stuff, as opposed to reporting and briefly discussing news we could get from IGN. You might feel you're alienating some listeners but I believe most of your OS' traffic are familiar with these topics.
