How about using Thurman Thomas, Emmitt Smith or Barry Sanders in Madden 93? I remember doing laps around the field on my Sega Genesis copy with them.

Also using Washington on Bases Loaded for NES. Their pitchers were untouchable.

I remember a version of the NHL-series, maybe it was NHL95 or NHL96 where you scored everytime when you made a slapshot with Eric Lindros if you were taking the shot from the circles or from even closer from the net than that. Sometimes the puck just went right through the goalie. If I dont remember wrong. Lindros was the only player with 99 in slapshot in that game.

Glen Rice NBA Live 97 I beleive. Dude would hit 90% of his threes from a couple of certain spots. I loved that dude on that game.

Not to be a nitpicker, but whenever the topic of Tecmo Bo comes up people seem to mashup the Tecmo Bowl and Tecmo Super Bowl versions into one character. The text in the article mentions the original Tecmo Bowl, but isnt the YouTube link from Tecmo Super Bowl? From my dusty memory, i remember Tecmo Bo being super powerful, while Tecmo Super Bo was swift as hell.

Or I could be very, very wrong.

NBA Showdown

Any decent 3pt shooter could make them all day long by banking them in from a 45 degree angle on the bottom of the court. It looked ridiculous banking in all those threes, but it was definitely money.

Two Madden ones ...

- The nano-blitz from a few years ago. Tough to do anything when your QB was insta-sacked.

- The Mike Vick roll outside and either scramble or throw a 70 yard bomb on the run move.
