2010 Operation Sports Game of the Year Award Winners

The Operation Sports Game of the Year Awards are handed out based on a wide range of categories that highlight different areas of achievement within the sports genre. The 2010 Edition of the Stevies are no different, with 13 separate categories set to receive winners.

We awarded winners in categories ranging from the most realistic gameplay of 2010 to the best text-sim to the best team-based sports game. One major change we made this year was to eliminate the Sports Game of the Year feature because we felt it was quite redundant to give out basically the same award to a game twice.

So without further adieu, here are the winners!

Congrats to 2K11, a sweep in all almost all available categories is something not often seen.

Cannot argue with the results but as good as the Show 10 was in the game play category, it is not NBA 2K11 great. To many bugs in the show to make it true sim. NBA 2K is fantastic and I never get bored of it

I have to agree. I am not a baseball person, but I buy the show every year. 2K11 speaks for itself. It is in the same category with NFL 2k2... e-nuff said.

Too many bugs in the show. NBA 2k11 had so many bugs the developers gave up patching the game. LOL 2k11 myplayer and team up mode are still broken right this moment.

If 2k11 is a master piece then I guess you will tell me $hit taste like steak next.

Hey the F1 2010 game isn't completely not played in the US. I bought that because I thought it'd be fun, and a good hold-me-over to GT 5. Turns out I play it more that GT 5. Great game, and hopefully has some improvements into the next installment. Maybe create-a-team mode. building a racing team from the ground up with real life sponsors.
