OS Staff Lists Their Three Most Anticipated Titles of 2012

It's a new year, and the yearly cycle of releases is set to begin in the next week. Thus, we asked OS staffers what their three most anticipated titles are this year. Some interesting tidbits is that SSX appears in many lists, EA NBA appears in several as well while NBA 2K13 isn't in any of our staffer's top three most wanted -- which probably doesn't indicate our expectation in quality but rather that the staff is heavily intrigued by what EA is going to bring to the table.

So read our lists and then give us your own, what are your three most anticipated titles of 2012?

Chris Sanner: 1)SSX, 2)NCAA Football 13, 3)FIFA Soccer 13

Dustin Toms: 1)SSX, 2)EA's NBA Title, 3)MLB: The Show 12 (Vita)

Caley Roark: 1) MLB 12: The Show, 2) OOTP 13, 3) SSX

Phil Varckette: 1)MLB: 12 The Show, 2)NCAA Football 13, 3)Madden NFL 13

Bo McCready: 1)FIFA 13, 2)NCAA Football 13, 3)SSX

Steven Bartlett: 1)EA NBA, 2)SSX, 3)Madden NFL 13

Jayson Young: 1) Trials Evolution, 2) Gridiron Heroes, 3) EA NBA

Bishop Tart: 1) SSX, 2) MLB 12 The Show (PS Vita), 3) EA NBA

Kelvin Mak: 1) MLB: The Show 13, 2) Football Manager 2013, 3) EA NBA

Glenn Wigmore: 1) NHL 13, 2) UFC Undisputed 3, 3) Trials Evolution

Mike Kilroy: 1) MLB: The Show 13, 2) Madden NFL 13, 3) Grand Slam Tennis 2

Matthew Coe: 1) SSX, 2) MLB 2K12, 3) Madden 13

3) A college hoops game...I can dream right?

Non-sports, I'm really excited about Mass Effect 3 and The Last of Us.

Mine would have to go:

1) MLB 12 The Show- This isn't even close. With the product they put out every year, mixed with my love for Baseball, this one is easy for me.

2) WWE '13- Normally, I'd never have a Wrestling game even in my top 5. Thats how good I believe WWE '12 is. Not only did it rope me back into wrestling, but the Universe mode has kept me playing the game since I bought it on release week.

3) NCAA Football '13- Its probably (definitely) unfair of me to leave NBA 2K out when its a game that I really love and respect, but College Football is my favorite sport, and I really am hoping EA turns things around. NCAA '12 took its fair share of risks, but frankly, they pretty much all fell flat on their face. The best thing EA can do is fix gameplay, because the game has become almost unplayable when compared to games like FIFA, WWE, NBA 2K, and MLB The Show.
