Regardless of whether the football games out this year claim to have either real time presentation or real time physics, they won't actually have either. Talk is cheap, but it sure does get us excited around here at OS.

Real time physics is more important, but honestly we NEED both. It's 2012, and I refuse to settle when games in other genres are releasing jaw dropping games. To say we have to settle for one is a bit ridiculous... especially for a game that releases every year.

In this day and age with the tech we have, why can't we have both. It's always one or the other.

Re: OS Debate: Real Time Physics or Authentic True to Life Presentation?

depends on what sport, if its something physical with lots of contact id have to go with Physics all the way, but if its something less physical with very little or no contact at all id say presentation as it would not need the physics, if its football (which is pretty much what this is referring to) id say physics

RTP in a walk. Presentation could never keep me playing a sports game for more than a day, let alone weeks, and months. NCAA Basketball 10 went super heavy on presentation over gameplay, and that got them a one way ticket to Cancelationville.

Do this today: Instead of $%*#!@& on a game you're not going to play or movie you're not going to watch, say something good about a piece of media you're excited about.

Do the same thing tomorrow. And the next. Now do it forever.
