Last year, Madden 16 introduced Draft Champions, a mode that mixed the team-building aspect of Ultimate Team with the tension of the NFL Draft. Basically, you take a roster full of mediocre players, and through a 15-round draft you attempt to make the necessary upgrades.

Unlike your team, the mode itself hasn't seen many significant improvements this year. It remains relatively the same as its last update in Madden 16. This is more noticeable, in my opinion, because of the changes MLB The Show 2016 made to the formula in its own Battle Royale mode.

Don't know why games are afraid to do H3H seasons, with Playoffs competing for a Championship. Madden took H2H seasons out, huge step back.

Not having stats, season, playoffs, or a Championship, feels empty fake and childish to me. No point to play but for digital cards.

Pointless to me.

Here's why I love Draft Champions more than Battle Royal, even though I love baseball and am very meh on football.

There's a single player mode of it.

If there were a single player Battle Royale where you played the computer, I would eat that **** up and never buy another sports game. It would be the ultimate experience.
