Another gear grinder. Lazy marketing.

Every broom/mop ever made is the greatest one ever made. Whatever the previous leading brand was apparently sucks and turns your dusty floor into a bigger mess than before, and their new mop or broom picks up 99.9% of everything.

Buying a razor? This new one provides best shave ever while being so comfortable too. The previous version completely sucked.

The new deodorant? Gives you longest lasting protection. Your old one sucks.

Doesn't matter if its 2019 or 1989, we probably have same types of ads. I'm sure mops and deodorants in the 80s were the greatest ones ever and could never be topped.

This is on you, not them.

Use what works for you.

not toilet paper.

you realise toilet paper has not changed in my lifetime? it's just paper on a cardboard roll, that's it. and in 10,000 years it will be exactly the same, because really, what else can they do?

Re: You know what really grinds my gears?

When you spend all summer buying fall weather clothes because it's your favorite season, but the climate where you live decides to stay in the 80s-90s until late mid/late Nov and then go straight to 30s-40s. I'm exaggerating, but damn. I just want to wear a damn track jacket.
