I took this on my way home about 20 minutes ago:

The roads are icy as all hell, but it's the low visibility and strong winds that will get you.

On the bright side, it is 28 degrees so at least the temp isn't too bad.

It looks like winter shall return for the Eastern US around Valentine's Day.

In fact, the pattern setting up in mid to late February looks prime for a big snowstorm across the Eastern Seaboard down into the Southeast. Looks like we should get some shots with gulf lows.

I know you and I are probably the only one's hoping that happens. Just hope it happens on a Friday. We need to see about arranging that.

32 degrees right now (which is considered mild here this time of year). Suppose to get up to about 40 today.

Boston is going to get demolished this Friday, most likely. Looks like maybe 30"+ if everything comes together and probably at least a foot, in any case...

As long as its not Thursday, I'm good. Sunday thru Monday would be best.
