At 9pm last night God called home the greatest man I ever knew. My Dad battled multiple health issues like several heart attacks, several strokes, kidney failure, heart disease and dementia. I watched this man endure hell and fight to survive these issues for the better part of 20 years. Last night he decided he was done fighting and wanted to be reunited with my mom.

You always think there is time, and there is, until there isn’t. Cherish every moment you have with your parents, kids, loved ones, and friends because one day those moments will be replaced by memories.

I love you Dad and I am damn sure going to miss you.

It's easier said then done, but when you can, just think of the good times man. Don't think of those last ugly moments.

I'm sorry for your loss CB. I hope you and your family can find comfort in these dark times. You'll see him again. And he's always there with you. Remember that. The beautiful memories. The things he would say. Little things. He's near by. He's always gonna be with you.
