Re: The Lego Thread

I have a huge container of Legos from my childhood. I had a lot of the older sets that were spoilered earlier. My four boys (9,8,7,4) are now getting into Lego. They have quite a lot of cool, smaller sets already, as well as the City Freight Train set. They love Minecraft, so they have some Minecraft sets, but mostly I focus on the City sets that I loved as a child.

This Christmas is heavily Lego for them. I bought the Passenger Train set, newest fire and police stations, a prison island, construction site, and a bunch of other smaller sets. My parents always got me just buckets of plain old blocks whenever I was a child, so I keep with the same tradition and get them each medium sized buckets for Christmas as well.

I love to play with Legos, they love to play with Legos, so we get to spend great quality time building and playing together.

Re: The Lego Thread

Began work on my little Christmas village for this year. Holiday train and Santa's workshop complete so far. Still need to get the winter toy shop set put together. Just have this set up this way for now until the other set is done and I figure out how I want to place them.

27 inches, all curved pieces. You can buy straight and flexible tracks.

Haven't set up our tree yet but is 27 inches good to go around an average size tree? Or should I get more track?

Like it! The toy shop is at a good price on Prime right now so I may get it. The others though... yeah... like $200. No thanks.

Sorry for the double post. Not that skilled on the cell phone.

The holiday train is $99.99 and the winter toy shop is $79.99 at the Lego Store. I lucked out finding Santa's workshop on Amazon for $54. You are better off getting from the Lego Store or Lego.com than Amazon. Too many third party sellers inflating prices on there.

We have the train and workshop already. Paid the same price as you for the workshop on Amazon. Didn't know the toy store was at the Lego Store. Thanks for that info. 👊
