My wife has been posting daily on FB to keep everyone up to date because there is no way to keep all the family and friends up to date any other way from coast to coast. Unfortunately things will not be turning out the way we had hoped and prayed for. God says otherwise. After conferencing with drs at noon today there is nothing more that can be done but to comfort our loving daughter Amari until she passes on to be with God.

Thanks OS for the support because it has helped me get through this tough time.

I’ll leave you all with my wife’s post tonight.

Update on Amari (day 13):

It took me a long time today to figure out what I planned to post tonight. And on any given day, words flow through me with very little thought or preparation. But today feels different. Today I have felt every second, every minute, every hour pass by yet it feels like time is standing still.

Amari has had another day of setbacks and quite frankly, the odds of her pulling through are slim to none. And as much as it pains me, I can only reflect on the moments that we have shared, the memories that I will hold dear and of all the people whose lives she has touched. I have never met a more caring, selfless and forgiving person. If she loved you, she loved you. Period. And for that, I am grateful.

Be kind to one another. Embrace each other. Laugh together, cry together. But most of all live. That’s what she would say in this moment. Live. Laugh. Love. Pray for us and pray with us.

Praying for Amari and your family.

i'm at a loss for words. I feel your pain and I wish like heck I could do something to make it better. Unfortunately it doesn't look very good for you guys. The death of a child is heartbreaking and horrible no matter when but at this time of the year when we should all be celebrating and be loving to one another makes this even more incredibly heartrending.

I can't deny that there are tears welling up inside me as I type this. All I can say is God has His plan for Amari and she'll be going to a far better and Just place. God bless you and your family my friend. OS is more than just a message board it's a community where we celebrate our joys and share in our collective sorrow. You and your family will be in my continued thoughts and prayers.

Words just aren't coming to me. But just know we are with you brother. Stay strong.

I don't know what to say man. I literally had to shut my office door to let the tears pass.

All I can say at this time is that my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family brother. And while there is nothing that can take away the pain, you can take comfort in knowing that she is in a better place and she is taking her place where she belongs, with God and amongst his angels.
