Also, just Tuesday they thought he was out of the woods. He was able to sit up and take a few steps (yes, this is that bad) and they were transferring him to a long-term care facility for rehabilitation.

Then, last night his family was notified that his lung function was critically compromised and he was on life support. Per his wishes, the family had him taken off of support.

You're good man.

Like I said things don't hit me the way they do a lot of people. I understand and appreciate Shiz looking out too. We're all good.

Its called SVT. So in the procedure they make the arrythmia happen, see where the 2nd pathway is, and burn it. The risk, which is typically less than 1% is they burn both pathways, and then you would need a pacemaker. My 2 pathways are close together so my risk while still low is a little higher than 1%. So last time he was very conservative in how much he burned, this time he's going to be a little more aggressive.

Hopefully things are still pretty good in CT as far as Corona by then. Gonna need a covid test a few days before and gonna have to see what the visitor limitiations and protocols are by then because they are always changing.
Good luck. I've had SVT for 17 years now (usually have 2-10 "episodes" per year depending on stress, sleep, physical activities). Fortunately for me, they rarely last more than 10 minutes (I've only had to go to the hospital 3x to get my heart rate under control), but it's not a lot of fun. Hope everything turns out well.

So got some good news on my end at least. My dad who had been sick for the past week or so, got a coronavirus test done, and it came back negative.

I have no “control” to compare it to. How many people with heart disease who die in car accidents are counted as heart disease deaths? Diabetes? Is this just the way things are measured? I don’t know the “normal” way so I can’t judge if this is abnormal.
