There was a place in Erie, PA called Children's Palace. It was better than Toys R Us.

Huge store, tons of toys and video games.

We had this thing back in the day called Major League Baseball, some of you may have heard of it. It was great.

I've heard tales. PEDS, sign-stealing, corked bats, sandpapered balls. sounds lovely

There was also a drive and park area where you would park under a roof type area and order through a speaker system ,then they bring your food out to you and you sit and eat in the car. The place was great. I still live in the same house I did back then ,every thing has changed and not for the better.
I know I'm a different animal, but this sounds terrifying, but I'm also a guy afraid to call the number to activate a gift card just because someone might actually pick up

There was a Sam Goody nearby. That place closed down in like 2005 I think. The sign remained there for like 10 years afterward. I miss that place.

We had one in Clarksville, IN when I was growing up.

Loved that store.

I'm too lazy to call/answer phones. If someone wants to text me on the other hand, go ahead.

Actually....that would be a modern solution to this.

Sit at your booth, and text them and they'll bring it out.

Better yet, just enter the order through the mobile app, and have a robot bring it out to you.
