Auburn is Humbled on the Road

#13 Penn State hosted the #2 Tigers and they played tough for all 4 quarters. A 17-0 lead in the first half. Auburn was able to cut the lead before halftime and it looked like the game would play out like they have been with Auburn taking over the rest of the game but Penn State was not done. The Nittany Lions forced a total of 4 interceptions and played lights out for most of the game giving them a 24-17 lead going into the 4th quarter. Auburn tied the game after finally getting their running game going but Penn State answered with a field goal to go up 27-24. Auburn responded with another long drive leaving less than a minute on a clock and a 31-27 lead.

Penn State needing a touchdown moved down the field in no time and got a 1st and goal with less than 30 seconds on the clock. An out route gave them 2nd and goal with less than a yard to punch it in. They went with a pass to catch the Auburn defense off guard but was sacked leaving 3rd and goal from the 7. Another pass call was thrown away making it 4th and goal and a deflected pass sealed the game. The Tigers were lucky to escape this one.

Alabama loses 62-50 in triple overtime.

I had a chance to end it in regulation but my RB did hat sweat pitch thing and turned the ball over in a tie game with 40 seconds left at the Tiger 30 yard line
