UConn receives a commit from a top 150 prospect in #4 SS, Jonathan Hampton, from Ohio. A 4* prospect measuring at 6'0, 193. He's pre-scouted at 75 overall.

Re: Rivals Newsfeed

NCAA Y9 W12

UCLA is still unanimous #1 as the lone undefeated team in college football and #2 FSU, #3 LSU, and #5 Oklahoma could likely be in the big game. FSU has the easiest road out of the 4 and Oklahoma doesn't have a conference championship so experts are predicting a rematch of the 2000 championship if UCLA stumbles. UCLA is led by Soph RB Soso Jamabo who is the favorite to win the Heisman but with games against #15 Arizona, #17 USC, and the Pac 12 championship UCLA is not a lock at #1.

AAC
UCF and USF are on a crash course for week 14 where the conference championship and possibly a BCS bowl could be on the line.

AAC
Rumors are that there could be as many as 3 new coaches added to the conference within the next few days. No confirmation but the rumors are floating.

UCF lands 2 more recruits this week, bringing their total so far to only 8. Small class this year but they're landing some studs.

Re: Rivals Newsfeed

NCAA Y9 W13

5 key games shape the National Championship picture this week

5) #8 ORE @ WAS
- Oregon and Washington are playing for the Pac 12 North. The winner will face #1 UCLA in the Pac 12 Championship. UCLA would rather see Washington

4) #22 GT @ #18 VT
- These teams are playing for the lead in the ACC Coastal division to see who will face FSU or Clemson in the ACC Championship.

3) #19 AUB @ #4 LSU
- LSU could be the beneficiary of winning the nations toughest conference if they can survive the end of season.

2) #2 ND @ #7 TENN
- Huge game in Tennessee. ND has everything to lose after just hopping a few teams to be at #2 while Tennessee has everything to gain by pulling off this upset.

1) #13 USC @ #1 UCLA
- Rankings mean nothing in a rivalry game as big as this and UCLA is well aware. This game is the biggest game of the season for UCLA who is the lone undefeated team in the country.

Re: Rivals Newsfeed

NCAA Y9 W14

NEW #1 IS FSU
The top 25 does alot of shifting after 3 top 10 teams fall including #1 Ucla to #13 USC and #2 Notre Dame to #7 Tennessee. FSU has the toughest game of the leading contenders taking on #18 Florida in a tough rivalry game. The matchup could come down to an LSU vs Tennessee showdown next week for the SEC Championship.

AAC
• The Game of the Year for this conference will see #11 USF take on #15 UCF, 2 teams who haven't lost a game in a while. There will be a couple of recruits on hand for USF making official visits but both of these teams signed big name QBs this seasons who will be rivals for the next 4-5 years and they both will be attending this game as well.

• Word around Temple is that they have hired a new head coach but have not given the details yet. More information to come.

Re: Rivals Newsfeed

NCAA Y9 CCW

The Oklahoma Sooners have jumped to #1 after beating rival #6 Oklahoma State in their final game. With no Big 12 Championship game OU is a lock for the title game. Their opponent will either be #2 FSU who will face #18 VT in the ACC Game, #3 Tennessee who will face #7 LSU in the SEC Game, or #4 Clemson who will be praying for 2 upsets. Alot at stake this week.

AAC
#9 USF is one game away from its first ever BCS bowl birth but Uconn stands in the way. Uconn played USF as well as anyone in their first meeting but USF escaped with a 1 point win. This time around USF is the hot team having won every game since a tough lost to Arizona while Uconn has fell off in recent weeks. The Bulls have relied heavily on Heisman favorite Marlon Mack but the QB play of Quentin Flowers in recent weeks could give USF the edge along with their solid play on defensive end as of late. Uconn's defense needs to play at the level they were at the beginning of the season if they hope to pull off the upset and kill USF's dream season.

Rivals Newsfeed

NCAA Y9 BowlWeek

NCAA
The stage is set for the BCS National Championship. #1 Florida State 12-1 vs #2 Oklahoma #11-1. This is a very good matchup for 2 historic programs. Both teams only loss came at the hands of their most hated rivals but these teams are beyond deserving of this opportunity to play for the title.

Another intriguing BCS game will be #3 Clemson 11-1 vs #7 USF 11-1 in the Orange Bowl. Clemson believes that they should be in the national championship so they they fully expect to walk out of Miami with a dominating win. On the other side USF has had a magical season including holding the schools first ever Heisman trophy winner in Marlon Mack. He will need to be better than one of the toughest defenses in the country if they want a chance in this one.

Heisman Trophy:
USF's Marlon Mack shocked the world by winning this years Heisman trophy. His stats were consistently impressive all season but they did not seem to be Heisman level because of the competition of his conference, but the voters were impressed by his ability to seemingly win games by his self this year and despite being in a traditionally lower tier conference there were 5 teams in the AAC that cracked the top 25 and Mack showed up in all of those games. There is one final step for Mack and thats Clemson, as this will likely be his final game for the Bulls.
