Re: RIVALS LAST RUN 2018-2019

Ohio St on the road to take on Wisconsin. The entire gameplan revolved around shutting down Taylor. The Osu d held him to 6 yards in the first half yet the Osu offense couldn’t hit any big plays and only held a 10-3 lead. Wisconsin opened up the 2nd hitting the te on 3 of the same routes and Taylor finished the drive off to tie it at 10. Haskins would quickly drive Osu for a td ending with a 14 yard strike to Berry to make it 17-10. The defense forgot how to tackle with Taylor taking it in from 75 yards out on the 1st play to tie it again. The rest of the 3rd saw Wisconsin dominate statistically. Going into the 4th Haskins had several opportunities to blow it open yet a couple of magical plays by the Wisconsin safeties covering yardage from one side of the field to the other stalled drives. Osu would settle for 2 fgs to make it 23-17. Wisconsin slowly worked down to the 23 and we were thinking there was no way we were going to stop them at this point. Facing a 3rd and one we went all out blitz, Bosa hit Taylor first then Young then Harrison yet he stayed up tried to hurdle where Fuller and Browning tagged him forcing a fumble. We recover and try to ice it. With under a minute to go and facing 3rd and 1 with Wisconsin having all of there to’s Coach dialed up play action and Haskins hit Campbell down the seam for 39 and set up 1st and goal where we eventually punched it in at the end forcing Wisconsin to use the to’s. 30-17.

Osu 487 yards

Haskins 29/44-340 td
Dobbins 26-125 td
Weber 10-33 td
Campbell 10-117
McLauren 5-69
Dixon 4-76
Mack 4-45

Wisky 270 yards

Hornibrook 13/21-167 int
Taylor 13-115 2tds
Neuville 3-63
Pryor 3-33
Dixon 10 tackles sack
Cone 9 tackles

Re: RIVALS LAST RUN 2018-2019

I think the rules are good, I still struggle not being able to hit route one guy when I know what the coverage is but can’t attack the open spot, the audible to another play doesn’t work when the cpu knows what play you run. For me Wisconsin was right there until the end, had they had better wrs and a qb that could throw they would’ve won. The defense was all over everything and forced precision in the pass game while the run game was hot to start then faded. They played about the way they should’ve. Once we move on to better teams the challenge will be real.

Re: RIVALS LAST RUN 2018-2019

I updated the rules and gave some stuff back

* almost pulled the trigger on hot routes but for now Im leaving them off.. nobody really has a money play without them

* overload plays are talking about anything where the corner is on the opposite side so its empty.. you cant take off with your QB if you call something from those formations. You can call run plays out of them but you cant flip whatever you call (you can motion tho)

* Formation audibles are back, still no plays with 3 of the same thing

Re: RIVALS LAST RUN 2018-2019

Tennessee @ #1 Georgia

First half was better than our usual first halves this year but we still couldnt get in the endzone even after 2 1st quarter interceptions. Up 3-0 in the middle of the 1st we take another drive down the field and Fromm stares down a WR against a blitz at the 20 and they pick it off. Tennessee gets a 26 yard pass then a 61 yard run up the middle for the 7-3 lead.

Swift leads the way in the 2nd qtr but the drive ends up in another fg, 7-6 Tennessee. Neither team does much until about a minute left where Justin Fields comes in on his formation and takes a deep shot that is intercepted putting the Vols at midfield. Chryst goes deep the very next play to a WR in 1 on 1 coverage and the corner misses the easy swat, 49yd TD. 14-6 Tennessee. Fromm moves it down to the 10 with under a minute but 4 runs get stuffed at the goalline as time expires. 14-6 at the half.

2nd half the Bulldogs need a stop to shift the momentum but Tennessee starts the half with a great drive that ends in a fg. 17-6. Fromm goes aggressive and throws a deep post on UGA's drive and he over throws it so bad it hits a streaking WR who had just got behind a DB. 66 yd pass ends in a Swift td. Failed 2pt conversion makes it 17-12. Next drive Chryst fumbles on a scramble and Patrick the MLB who got the first int scoops and scores and Swift gets the 2pt. 20-17 UGA. Vols stall and a solid drive ends in an 8yd WR reverse to Hardman the speedster making it 27-17. Vols go 3 and out and Hardman runs the punt return back 81 yards, 34-17.

Tennessee needs a big play bad because the Georgia defense is flying around but a 3rd and long ends in an interception on the sideline. 3and out for UGA gives the Vols hope and they respond with a long drive that cuts it to 10 with 3 minutes left. Vols go for the onside kick but it goes out of bounds and the refs give it to UGA inside Tenn territory, Swift puts the nail in the coffin. 41-24. Backups close out the game.

UGA
QB Fromm 12/21 257yds 0td 1int 57%
