FIU vs 8 MIAMI

1st quarter was a grind but we made all the right decisions and capitalized. They didnt have the horses to finish the drives but kept up so it was 14-10 after 1.

2nd we start the qtr on another well executed drive until 3rd down where I threw an out and accidentally switched to the WR and didnt move. Drive ended in 3. 17-10. Their next to drives my Fr Rs CB Gary Beard makes back to back ints both setting up short fields and tds. 31-10 at the half.

3rd we try and pick up where we left off and get the backups in but a few plays define the whole qtr: MIA 3rd and 1 ends in a 3 yd loss as the whole line beats their men at the same time, deep ball broken tackle 82 yd td FIU, int MIA throwing to an open man, deep ball broken tackle 90 yd td FIU. 31-24 MIA after 3.

Ross breaks a 53 yd run setting up a short td and giving us some momentum back. 38-24. We force a punt and Leak hits Higgins to make it a 3 score game. 45-24. They score a mop up td on my backups to make it 45-31 and we avenge last years lost to FIU where they cheated and blew us out.

LSU beats Tennessee 41-32. Don't let the 41 points fool you, we struggled on offense for the 3rd straight game. Defense won this game for us, holding Tennessee to 6 FG's and a pick 6. Watson was benched in the 4th after 3 bad passes led to int's. 70 overall RS freshman Davis had the game winning drive. No idea on who will start against Mississippi State in 2 weeks. Watson has been horrible in 3 games but Davis is a 70 overall with neither his throwing power or accuracy above 79..

Sad thing is he was a 4 star smh. Actually the last three Qb's i've recruited at LSU, have all been 4 star bust lol.

I forgot you said that in the offseason I mean if he played like a 4 star and got yal a dub was he really a bust? You just won a Heisman with an 84 overall SR RB

He only had one drive in the Tennessee game, lets not get crazy here. Culp was like almost everyone else who started for me last year, low overall but fast af. Culp was one of fastest players in nation.

This rivalry has definitely held its weight over the years and this year we have a top 2 matchup that has the potential to be a real good game. Player for player you have to go with Notre Dame who is primed for a championship run, but their strength actually highlights a weakness in Michigan which is the oline. The Wolverines have 2 key injuries up front which I ultimately think kills their chances this week. R Smith was brought in at QB to be the guy to win these type of games for Michigan but I dont think theyll be able to protect him for 4 quarters. Special teams has been a concern for the Wolverines as well and although it hasnt costed them a game yet this is a game where they need every point they can get on the road and I just dont see ND folding.
