11 MIAMI vs WAKE FOREST
The got a 79 yd run on their first drive with 3 broken tackles. I knew they were a heavy run team so I stayed focused on that the whole game. The QB taking off did some damage because he was breaking tackles too but in the end their lack of WRs killed their pass game. Our offense ended up playing alot better im the stat sheet than it felt on the field. I was worried the first few drives but Graves was sharp and Brown was running hard, he's alot like Ross but just young. He'll be close by the time he leaves. Defense didnt give up much in terms of big plays after that first long run so we made them work for everything and held them off. Canes bounce back after their loss to Mississippi State and a bye week with a good win for their biggest recruiting visit of the year.

Had to come back from 17-3 at the half. For some reason I could not stop the screen pass... at all. Doyle (back up qb) fumbled twice. Took a handful of sacks . Almost lost it yet and still o. A hail Mary bc it was a bullet and underneath the prevent blanket... I'm pretty sure he just dropped that.

Miami has won more of those matchups but Duke has been able to give them fits. The pressure is on for both of these teams because the ACC Coastal division is extremely tight. #1 Pitt is still undefeated so the winner of this game will be chasing the Panthers and needing to win that showdown when the time comes. The loser will already be behind 2 games. On the field we all know Miami is stacked even with their beast RB Ross still out for 5 more weeks minimum, but they are facing the #2 rush offense and the #2 defense in the country. Do not look at logos this week, Duke is making a championship run. Miami can not afford to turnover the ball this week or Duke will suffocate them by eating the clock with ball control. The key players in this one are Graves at QB for Miami and Reese at RB for Duke. Both have to put the team on their back and carry the load for all 4 qtrs if their teams want to stay in this championship hunt after this Saturday. Duke is at home but I think Miami has a little too much for them for 4 qtrs.
