Re: RIVALS LAST RUN 2033-2034
8 NOTRE DAME vs 1 MIAMI
1st half ND elects to take the ball first and they must have known something we didn't because their first play from scrimmage is a 75 yd run by Marquardt. 7-0 ND. We dont get much and have to punt. They get a fg right after and go up 10-0. After both teams trade punts we get a decent return and get in good field position. Drive only results in 3 as we still cant get the run or pass going consistently. 10-3 ND. Notre Dame's offense is still moving but we hold them to 3 and have time to score before the half. 13-3 ND. We stall again and ND scores with :06 left in the half. 20-3. Less than 100 yds on offense, run game cant get any push, pass game isnt clicking at all, ND has the momentum, Parker is having his way with us, their run blocking is making us look small, horrible half. 2nd half We get the ball first and try to get back to get the ground game going to flip momentum. Brown gets stuffed twice. We try and go no huddle but nothing is flowing. ND gets another long drive that ends in a fg and its 23-3. They get another td 2 minutes later and the heat is up. We have to go all out pass now. Smith throws his 2nd pick on first down and they score again. 37-3. We tell Murphy to warm up and officially burn his redshirt. He goes 6/6 on his first drive and scores his first career passing td to Palmer. A dumb int the next drive was on me bec the safety left his zone to play the guy I was staring at, but another WR was running a post. Next drive he scores again. We lost but Murphy had more yds in the 4th than we had as a team all game. The team is his to lose. |

The story here is that Texas has some very notable injuries that could have a huge impact. MLB Paris, CB Martin, and QB Newsome are all out. Paris and Martin are 2 of the leaders on this team who definitely will be missed for this one. Thats 2 kids who will be playing on Sundays next year or the following year. Newsome is young so having Bell to replace him helps the passing game but hurts in the run game as they use their QBs legs. I think the fact that he will run even though its a weakness for him means that Bell will need to be sharp in the air. OU's Huffman on the other hand is the opposite, he has an arm and great legs and is a perfect fit for this OU offense. He came back with hopes of winning this game and a natty so I expect him and the OU RBs to be on another level especially with Paris out in the middle. I think Texas is the better team this year but for this matchup Im not sure they can over come those injuries. Notre Dame looked incredible against Miami but Duke plays completely different. Duke will play them close. 🟢 19 TENNESSEE (4-0) vs 7 GEORGIA (4-1) - Georgia's star QB Graham is out with injury and that already costed Georgia a game. The Vols are hot right now, could be the perfect storm in Knox 🟢 12 NEBRASKA (3-1) vs 24 MICHIGAN ST (2-1) - Nebraska took their 1st L against a Minnesota team who started slow this year but finally clicked. Spartans should finish top 15 this year. Gg on the way. 🟢 8 LSU (4-1) vs 17 FLORIDA (2-1) - Florida has one of the best RBs rooms in the country and both top backs get hurt right before the LSU game. NC State vs 6 Miami
1st half We get it first and go 5 straight runs with Brown but he gets hurt for the game on the 5th run. We balance the attack and end up scoring a 1 yd run. 7-0. They stall and give it back, Murphy hits Williams on a 34 yd back shoulder throw for a td, one of the best passes Ive seen on here. 14-0. They ran a triple option and their second drive they gashed us twice and eventually score on a 6yd run. McKinney my backup RB answers with a 70yd run after making 4 guys miss at the LOS. 21-14. Both teams trade scores before the half. 28-21 Miami. 2nd half They get it first but we force a punt. Another solid drive and some great play by Murphy leads to McKinney's 3rd td. 35-21. They get a fg and cut it to 11. McKinney kicks our drive off for the first 3 plays before Murphy hits Tidwell on a 45 yd bomb, Tid makes a diving catch after the beautiful pass, McKinney scores his 4th, 3rd from a yd out. 42-24. They have to pass now and we force a quick 3 and out. We try to put the nail in the coffin but they pick Murphy off, 100% on me. They score on a 20 yd pass to the back of the endzone making it 42-30. We punt with 2 minutes left and they get a 61 yd bomb before scoring again. 42-37. We get the onside kick and dont give it back. Canes survive. LSU next week.. We found our QB, might give McKinney the start at RB, he looked good |

Re: RIVALS LAST RUN 2033-2034
I really don't know what's going on with my defense. We've struggled all year, besides the Vandy game. Florida Qb was lighting us up all game. Offense started off slow, Cook was 2 for 7 with a int at one point and we couldn't get the running game going. We kicked a gw fg as time expired. LSU beats Florida, 40-38.

RIVALS LAST RUN 2033-2034
WEEK 7
BCS Polls 🟢 1 UCLA 4-0 🟢 2 OHIO STATE 5-0 🟢 3(5) DUKE 5-0 ⚪️ 4 TEXAS 4-0 🟢 5(7) GEORGIA 5-1 MIZZOU ⚪️ 6 MIAMI 3-1 7 LSU 🟢 7(8) LSU 5-1 @ 6 MIAMI 🟢 8(11) TOLEDO 4-0 9(3) NOTRE DAME 4-1 🟢 10(12) NEBRASKA 4-1 **** GOTW **** 6 MIAMI 3-1 vs 7 LSU 5-1 Miami vs LSU is always the most anticipated game of the year and we have arrived here yet again. Both teams have one loss but are still playing for the National Championship. You have to assume the loser of this one is probably done for the year. Both teams are coming into this game with young QBs, LSU with Cook who started all last season, and Miami with Murphy who will only be having his 2nd start but has impressed in his last 2 games. Cook faced this Miami defense twice last year and they made him look like a freshman, something that other teams couldnt do. LSU has the better this team this year but I think this one comes down simply to which QB has the better day. Neither team has been dominant running the ball consistently, even though Miami did have a crazy game last week on the ground, but in this game the QBs, the pass protection, the WRs, and limiting turnovers will determine who is still in the title hunt. Another thing you have to factor into this matchup is LSU has played 6 games already to Miami's 4. Miami is shuffling their lineup and finding a new identity for this years team because last year's identity hasn't worked. LSU knows exactly who they are and what they have and they've played half their season so they should be clicking. All that said I think Miami takes this one only because their defense has proven to be able to shake LSU's QBs, particularly Cook. Also the Canes being at home should give them that extra boost of momentum. They've dominated this rivalry as of late so I think the staff will find a way. Pre: MIA 30 LSU 28 Pre: OU 35 TEX 32 -> TEX 47 OU 40 (OT) Pre: MIA 31 ND 29 -> ND 37 MIA 17 Pre: CLEM 30 DUKE 24 -> DUKE 🟢 Pre: MICH 28 ND 27 -> ND 38 MICH 31 🟢 Pre: MIA 35 MSST 27 -> MIA 42 MSST 6 🟢 Pre: LSU 38 SCAR 28 -> LSU 55 SCAR 45 BIG GAMES RECAP - Texas gets a huge win against OU In overtime.. Georgia comes back to beat Tennessee 28-21 on the road.. Duke has strong 4th qtr and beats ND late.. Ohio St QB Stokes has another monster game against UMass, Heisman front runner.. Buckeyes looking like the toughest team to beat right now 🟢 15 MISS ST (3-2) vs 18 TEXAS A&M (2-2) - The Bulldogs are first in the SEC West for the first time in Boogie's tenure. This is a huge opportunity at home against a tough A&M team. Good game otw. 🟢 5 GEORGIA (5-1) vs MISSOURI (4-1) - Graham is still out for Georgia but they've continued to play tough without him. This is another game they'll have to crawl out of and hope to survive 🟢 25 USC (4-1) vs UTAH (3-1) - USC is off to their best start in years. Utah is a good team that should provide a good measuring stick for the Trojans as they push forward. __________________________________ NEXT ADVANCE Sunday Night U5 GAMES 🟢 6 MIAMI vs 7 LSU 🟢 15 MISSISSIPPI ST vs 18 Texas A&M 4th down rule clarity Inside 35 is fair game UNLESS youre up by MORE than 7.. if youre up 8+ its a fg or punt ex: up 21-14 inside 35 you can go for it 4th Qtr its fair game anywhere if its tied or youre down, inside 35 rule is 8+ in the 4th Before 4th just be realistic if youre down 14+ __________________________________ READ THESE AGAIN BEFORE YOU PLAY!!!!!!! 4th inside the 35 is good UNLESS youre up by more than 7.. 4th or 17+ are the exceptions ••• remember in game coaching adjustments are allowed, EXCEPT for the clock option No huddle rule will be INCOMPLETE PASSES and SACKS - if you run the ball and lose yards or run out/step out of bounds you can still go no huddle (same as cpu) Update the AUTO SUBS to DEFAULT outside of the Dynasty 4th down rule - 4th inside the 35 is fair game (down/tied) - down/tied in the 4th OR down 17+ at any time is fair game from anywhere (Overtime is anything) * keep it realistic Reminder - No runs to the empty side of an empty set Allowed*** • KICK RETURNS in the endzone if the cpu starts the run • User Catches • Running with QB (as long as it looks real) • Hot Routes only to add a blocker • In game coaching adjustments Banned*** • 5 Wide • Read Options • Hot routes • Pass plays cannot have 3 players running the same route (hail mary's ok)(posts and corners count as the same) • No Shotgun Offset runs Last edited by JEJunior; 06-06-2021 at 06:26 AM. |
